Presenting The Three Thug Mice
The Three Thug Mice Launch During the Year of the Rat
Press ReleaseFebruary 17th, 2008 - The Three Thug Mice (http://www.threethugmice.com/) is a series of 35 animated short online films set in the grimy underbelly of the concrete jungle. The ongoing ghetto saga of anti-heroes Vic, Tik and Brik — three rodent crooks gnawing their way to gangster infamy — launches in February 2008 to correlate with the Chinese Year of the Rat. From eating welfare cheese to making real cheddar, we follow the hysterical antics and brutal power plays of our verminous trio while they evade the porcine police, the cockroach cocaine cartel and a gaggle of other unsavory characters.
The Three Thug Mice are the brainchild of New York City artist, Steve Marcus (http://www.smarcus.com/). Marcus describes the Mice as "Ghetto Disney" or "A hip-hop Fritz the Cat". Marcus' credo is "support the hood — not Hollywood" and stays true to his convictions by maintaining creative, publishing, and production control of all of his characters.
A new episode of the Three Thug Mice will be released every week at www.threethugmice.com/. Download formats will accommodate both PC and Mac platforms and will also be available for your iPod, Zune. PSP, portable media players and smart phones.
